San Andreas, CA…Firing has begun on the CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit Performing Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) Vegetation Management Program (VMP) prescribed burn. Firefighters will be on site for the duration of the day and again tomorrow 6/8.

This burn will help with noxious weed eradication as well as create a fuel break to help protect the community of San Andreas in the event of a approaching wildfire.
