Alan H. Corell, Former Forty Niner Chevrolet/Subaru Co-Owner Passes Away At 79

Angels Camp, CA…Alan H. Corell, passed away January 14, 2016, at his home in Angels Camp, CA, surrounded by his family, at the age of 79. He was born in Angels Camp, CA, to Calvin “Red” and Shirley Corell. Alan is survived by his wife Patricia of 54 years, a son Richard, and two daughters Debbie (Chad) Roots, and Cherie (Jeff) Gomes, and four grandchildren, Jesse, Ashlee, Tara, and Tyler.

Alan served in the Army during the Korean War. He co-owned and operated Forty Niner Chevrolet/Subaru in downtown Angels Camp for over 60 years. Alan met many people over the years and made many friends. He loved spending time with family and his grandchildren. Being with his family was Alan’s favorite past time. Alan enjoyed taking trips to Minden, and his favorite place New Orleans. He was a member of the Toast Master Club, Angels Camp Gun Club, and Calaveras County Historical Society.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 19th from 2pm to 6pm. A rosary will be held at 7pm at Angels Memorial Chapel, 1071 S. Main, Angels Camp, CA. A mass burial will be held on Wednesday, January 20th at 2pm at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 820 S. Main St, Angels Camp, CA.
