This is not the first 4th of July weekend PG&E has had issues with the increased demand and influx of visitors on our local grid. For us it took three tries for our section to stay on. You could almost feel the grid struggle after it was briefly up as all the generators cycled down and switched their loads back to the grid. First time it was up for 2-3 minutes, second try it stayed up for 5 min. Now it has been up for 10 min or so…
