The fire approximately 300 acres.
Evacuations are in progress from south of Butte Mountain Road from Clinton Bar Road to Amador Lane in Amador County and north of Hwy 26 from Montgomery Rd. To Lower Dorray Road. Over 100 personnel are on scene with more enroute.

4:40 p.m
Full ground and air resource response to a vegetation fire in Amador County south of Jackson at Electra Road and Hwy 49. The fire is approximately 75 acres burning at a dangerous rate of spread in dry grass in North Fork of the Mokelumne River drainage. Evacuations are in progress.
