Pioneer Man Arrested on Multiple Charges Including Weapons & Domestic Battery

Jackson, CA…On July 22, 2022, at approximately 10:12 am, deputies responded to the 28000 block of Sierra Court in Pioneer for a physical altercation involving one male and two females. Upon arrival, deputies developed probable cause to arrest the male, identified as 37 year old Jeremy Tate of Pioneer, for domestic battery, assault with a firearm and robbery. Detectives assisted and responded to Tate’s residence, where he was located and arrested without incident.

Detectives subsequently obtained a search warrant for Tate’s residence, during which multiple firearms, high capacity magazines and property taken during the robbery were located. One of the firearms was determined to be an assault rifle with a shortened barrel.

Tate was booked into the Amador County Jail, where he will face the aforementioned charges, along with numerous weapons violations, including felon in possession of a firearm and illegal possession of an assault weapon.
