Mark Twain Medical Center Announces Annual Community Health Improvement Grant Funding Period.

San Andreas, CA…Mark Twain Medical Center, (MTMC) through its affiliation with Dignity Health, has announced the opening period for the 2022 Dignity Health Community Grants Program. $36,000 will be awarded to the successful recipients in January 2023. Grant period will open August 15, and close October 7th

Along with working in some capacity with MTMC, the projects to be funded must involve collaboration with three local organizations who are working to improve the health and quality of
life of the communities we serve, as well as exemplify Dignity Health’s five core values: Compassion, Integrity, Inclusion, Collaboration, and Excellence.

The Dignity Health Community Grants Program is designed to support nonprofits that join together to address community health needs, particularly those that focus on underserved
populations to help address health disparities identify, and evaluate and report on specific and measurable outcome goals.

Applicants must be a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization or have a fiscal agent that is a 501(c) (3) organization and capable of administering the funds; the project or program must be a response to the health priorities identified in the 2019 MTMC Community Health Assessment and Community Benefit plan. Each grant program candidate must submit a grant proposal by the October 7th deadline in order to be considered.
