Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations this week on State Route 88.

Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
Route 88
• One-way traffic control from Sunset Drive East to Kennedy Flat Road for guardrail work beginning Sunday, August 7, through Friday, August 12, 2022, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from West Clinton Road to Toyon Road for tree work beginning Monday, August 8, through Friday, August 12, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Foster Meadow Road to Mormom Emigrant Trail for drainage work beginning Monday, August 8, through Thursday, August 11, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related Issues.
