Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) is pleased to announce the arrival of Faisal M Mirza, MD, FRCSC, fAAOS, fAOSSM Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Mirza is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and was prior Faculty at Stanford University and VA Palo Alto. He grew up in Ottawa and graduated medical school from the University of Western Ontario (UWO), London, Canada, followed by his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and Fellowship, at McMaster University. Dr. Mirza gained further expertise in patient safety and patient-specific outcomes as Medical Officer at the FDA and Global Bone Health Medical Director at Amgen. He is currently appointed to the AAOS Committee for Devices, Biologics, Technology Committee and the AAOS Scientific Review Group. His experience inspires patient value as the principal driver of
better care.
