Rail Road Flat, CA…A 44 year old Rail Road Flat man was driving his vehicle eastbound on Railroad Flat Road west of Buchanan Way at an unknown speed. A 58 year old Rail Road Flat woman was driving her vehicle westbound on Railroad Flat Road east of Buchanan Way at 30 MPH. For an unknown reason, Party 1 allowed his vehicle to cross over the solid double yellow lane lines and cross into the westbound lane. Party 2 observed vehicle 1 (Dodge) come into her lane and slowed her vehicle to approximately five MPH and turned her vehicle to the right. Vehicle 1 collided with vehicle 2 just east of the intersection of Railroad Flat Road and Buchanan Way, blocking the westbound lane of Railroad Flat Road.

The 44 year old Rail Road Flat man sustained major injuries and was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center. The 58 year old Rail Road Flat Woman and her her 52 year old male passenger sustained moderate and minor injures respectively and were taken to Mark Twain Medical Center.

Drugs and/or alcohol were not a factor in this collision.
