San Andreas, CA…Calaveras County’s Emergency Notification System, CodeRED, will be tested Tuesday, February 2nd to validate landline telephone numbers in the database. These landline telephone numbers are primarily received from telephone companies that provide services to Calaveras County. The Caller ID will read “800-791-3749” and the message will say “This is an important message from Calaveras County. Today is Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016. We are performing a test of the County’s emergency notification system, CodeRED. Had this been an actual emergency, you would have received important information from Calaveras County officials. Again, this is only a test.”
