Copperopolis, CA…Shelly Johnson, May 20, 1943 January 27, 2016 of Copperopolis, CA, formerly of Arnold, CA.
Shelly was taken suddenly from her earthly life on January 27 th to begin her eternity with the Lord. Her smile, laughter, and simply being a good listener, friend, and example to follow will be missed by all who knew her.
She was born in San Jose, CA and moved to Calaveras County in 1977. She married her Junior High sweetheart Bob in 1961. Together they raised six children, and were a devoted Grammy and Grandpa to eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Shelly was a gifted homemaker whose greatest joy was her family and bringing them
together for celebrations. Her home was the epicenter of the family. She most enjoyed time
with her family and loved ones. Typically, one family member or another was either visiting or
spending the night just to have time with Grammy.

She worked in the lunchroom at both Hazel Fischer Elementary School and Bret Harte
High School.

Her greatest joy was bringing happiness to her family. She also loved cooking, sewing,
quilting, gardening, and hiking. Her favorite place in the world was Lake Tahoe where she spent
as much time as possible camping, biking and just enjoying the beauty.
Shelly loved the Lord and spent her life sharing her love of Jesus with her family and
friends.

She was preceded by her mother Patricia Johnson of Arnold, CA. She is survived by her
husband Bob Johnson of Copperopolis, and children Kimberley Tucker, Jill Johnson, Melissa
Robnett, Bob Johnson, Natalie Vetter, and Lindee Creech. She is also survived by her two
sisters Jennifer Cass and Lisa Johnson.

Friends and family are invited to join together in a Celebration of Life at 2:00 P.M.
