San Andreas, CA… Adopt Me! Pandora! Isn’t she lovely? Please meet Pandora (A05490), a beautiful, medium-haired tortie point Siamese-mix junior(under 2 years old). Before a kind person brought her to the shelter, she was a stray who had been living on her own for a while.

Isn’t she lovely? Please meet PANDORA (A05490), a beautiful, medium-haired tortie point Siamese-mix junior(under 2 years old). Before a kind person brought her to the shelter, she was a stray who had been living on her own for a while.

Pandora is a petite kitty and has big, pale blue eyes. She is very sweet and affectionate, loves attention and enjoys meeting new humans. Pandora has a calm, quiet personality but sometimes gets the “zoomies” and chases things only she can see and tries to climb anything she can.

Pandora would be a wonderful family or companion kitty as long as the household does not have dogs, because she is frightened and upset by them. Since she is skittish and already has lived a rough outdoor life, perhaps she should be an indoor-only kitty.

All cats and dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.

Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!

When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off––reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.
