Alpine County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Route 88 next week in Alpine County.

Route 88
• One-way traffic control from the Lake Margaret Trailhead to Schneider Cow Camp Road for highway construction beginning Monday, November 14, through Thursday, November 17, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
