Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! Sunny skies will be the main thing today ahead of the weakening shortwave moving over the area on Monday. We’ll round out the week with 39F for the high and lite winds in the a.m. then increasing into the teens later this evening as the surface gradient tightens up.
The big issue with Mondays system is amplification which is is lacking immensely. Maybe some super lite scattered snowfall which may fall down t the 4000′ range as cold air from the North injects itself over NorCal.
The ensembles for the Thursday system are looking better every run over the last 24hrs and we look to pick up 10-12″ with that system and possibly a bit more if all things align. A second system a bit farther out also looks promising so check back in over the next few days and I’ll update things but know this………We will be skiing & riding POW next weekend Good People!!!!!!
We are near the end of the transitional phase into winter so forecasts will become more reliable days out than they are currently.
As always, do your snow dances and all else that brings the stoke of winter and we look forward to seeing you up here on the hill.
Peace Out,
Mattly
