Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! So……………….what a storm cycle so far! Our weather station is currently offline so I’m basing our resort totals this morning from what I see in Sherman Acres. I will update when I get to the resort shortly. 21″ of snow looks to have fallen overnight on the backside of almost 9″ of rain for a snowfall total of 25″ for the current cycle! Winds have increased overnight as the gradient tightens up so wind transported snow will be an issue today as Ski Patrol heads out for avalanche control shortly. A slight chance of residual snow may fall this morning before 10am and we’ll start to see the temp drop around noon before resting at 20F for the evening. Winds will drop down into the 30mph range tonight ahead of the next wave of snow that looks to begin come Monday around 10am. We could see 5-9″ of new snow by Tuesday morning as unsettled weather looks to remain through the week.
Peace Out,
Mattly
