Camp Connell, CA…On January 5th, at around 12:31 PM, a traffic collision occurred on State Route 4 near Meko Drive. The incident involved a vehicle running off the roadway and into a tree. There were no reported injuries as a result of the collision.

Authorities were alerted to the incident and a unit was assigned to respond. At 1:12 PM, it was reported that the California Highway Patrol had been notified and that a tow truck would be needed to remove the vehicle from the scene.

It is currently unknown what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and collide with the tree. It is also unclear if there was any damage to the vehicle or the tree.
