VAlley Springs, CA…Shirley Anne George was born on February 27, 1936 to Raymond and Lucille
Meyers. She passed away after a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was 79 years old. Shirley worked as a restaurant server and was a member of Tri Lakes Baptist Church. She was active in church activities and Bingo.

Shirley was survived by her daughter, Marlane Powers of Valley Springs; her son, Don George of Galt; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Flaggor of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Devin Flaggor of Jacksonville, Florida, Jonathan Hughes of La Porte, Texas, Kory Powers of Valley Springs, Daniel Powers of Lemoore, Sarah Bishop of Orangevale, and Rebecca Tucker of Dayton, Nevada; her greatgrandchildren, Breanne Nance of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Masson Powers of Valley Springs, Shelby Powers of Valley Springs, Jayrn Bishop of Orangevale, Journee Hughes of La Porte, Texas, and Jayden Hughes of La Porte, Texas; her brothers, Jim Myers and Bill Myers; and her sister Judy Rossel and Ginny Mc Dougall.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Myers; her mother, Lucille Meyers; her
brother, Don Meyers; her sister, Mary Meyers; and her daughter, Norene Marsh.

A Memorial will be held on February 27, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., at the Tri Lakes Baptist Church,
