Jacqueline Ann Eaton (Jackie) Passed Away at 80 Years Old on November 18th

Arnold, CA…Jackie Eaton Was 80 years old when she died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 18, 2022. She is survived by Karen Eaton, Debbie (Dan) Shipp as well as her two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her younger brother Richard and her four Nieces and two nephews.

          

Jackie was the oldest child of Edwin Lipps and Virginia Veon Lipps. She was born September 12, 1942, in Beatrice, Nebraska. In 1944 She moved with her family from Nebraska to the San Francisco Bay Area where she graduated from Hayward High School. While attending high school she met Roy, and they were married in 1960. She raised her two daughters while working for the Hayward School District as an attendance clerk until she retired. Jackie Loved to travel and visited almost all fifty states with Roy. She was even able to go to Florida and visit with her family just a month before she passed.
              
Jackie and Roy finished building their house in Arnold, California in 1989 with the help of their two daughters and son-in-law. This is where Jackie enjoyed living most and felt most at home. She was heavily involved with her quilt club and local church, with one of her quilts winning a blue ribbon at The Calaveras County Fair. Her family has been blessed with many handmade mementos to remember her by and she will be deeply missed.
              
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 12 noon at Mountain Christian Fellowship, 3488 Highway 4, Murphys. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Fellowship, Sacramento Youth Center, or St. Jude in her memory.
