Valley Springs, CA…On the evening of January 13th, 2023, a traffic collision occurred at 5009 Burson Road. The incident, classified as a “Trfc Collision-1141 Enrt,” involved a vehicle striking a power pole. According to the log of events, the collision was reported at 8:49 PM. Upon arriving at the scene, it was determined that the power pole was down and that there was an occupant in the vehicle. Emergency services were notified, with CAL FIRE and Pacific Gas and Electric (PGE) responding to the scene.

As a result of the collision, power lines were also reported to be down, and CAL FIRE was in contact with the local authorities to coordinate the response. A tow truck from Sam Berri was also requested to remove the vehicle from the scene.

Emergency units were dispatched and arrived at the scene, with some units remaining to assist and clear the scene. The incident was cleared by 9:23 PM.

It’s not clear the extent of the injuries, but it is important to note that in case of power line down, people should stay away and call their local emergency services.
