Arnold, CA…On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM, SIR (Sons in Retirement, Branch 152 ) will hold its Monthly Luncheon Meeting at Snow Flake Lodge, 2255 Blue Lake Springs Drive, Arnold CA. Mark Montelbetti Manager of Dollar General Arnold, will be our speaker. The Arnold Store opened in January 2016. Mark joined Dollar General in October of 2015.

Mark will be speaking about Dollar General as a company, their recent growth, and commitment to the community, product lines, and focus.

Mark was born and raised in Eureka, California. After serving in the Army in 1980, Mark moved to Sacramento and started his retail career with Big 5 Sporting Goods. Mark went to work with Raley’s in 1986 and was with them for 30 years. .

Mark now lives in Pioneer with his wife, Karen. They will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary in August. Mark is an avid hiker and cyclist. Mark has been cycling for 27 years, and has done the Davis Double Century Ride 9 times and the Death Ride 3 times.

SIR (Sons in Retirement) is a Men’s only organization. We have no initiation fees, we are not political, and not associated to any religious organization, we are not a service club, we have no paid employees and no physical assets; we meet entirely for the benefit of our members. Visitors are asked to contact the Membership Director about attending scheduled meetings.
