Hey Good People! A Beautiful Day Awaits at Bear Valley

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! A beautiful day is ahead with 32F for the high and SSW winds onto the teens with some gusting into the 20’s. High pressure is in effect currently as the West Coast gets ready for more snowfall come Sunday evening. As the trough arrives it will again bring with it cold air from the North which should bring snow elevations down to around 4000′. Winds will increase again as the surface gradient tightens up pushing those values into the 30-40mph range, Sunday evening through Tuesday.

Unsettled snow showery weather with cool temps will stick around through the week and by next week we should see things calm down and also a return to normal temps for this time of year.

The Grizz dig out and mitigation will continue today as yesterday a wrench was thrown in the cogs so to speak and Mtn Ops had to refocus to another task for the day. With some grit and luck it may come online today if not then Sunday. Patience has been something we all have had to accept and deal with this winter and trust me, the long wait will be worth it once we get it back online.
The winter that keeps on giving!

Peace Out,
Mattly
