Angels Camp, CA…Congratulations to Mr. David Duggan for being named the 2023 Bret Harte Teacher of the Year!
Mr. Duggan is our technical theater, audio production and video production instructor, as well as the Dr. Elliott A. Smart Performing Arts Center Director. He exemplifies outstanding teacher support to our students and reflects extraordinary talents and efforts to teach students the importance of learning the skills needed to work behind the scenes in theatrical, audio and video production. His students are engaged in projects that encourage creativity and complex problem-solving. Additionally and ultimately providing training for employment in the arts and entertainment industries. Well done, Mr. Duggan.
