Sheep Ranch, CA…CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit, Central Calaveras & Ebbetts Pass Firefighters made quick work of the Fullen Fire earlier this evening. Well Ladies, Gents, Boys & Girls the start of the named fires has commenced for 2023. Typical fire season progression is to see fast moving grass fires at lower elevations as the spring vegetation browns out. Then the more dangerous fires in heavier fuel areas commence.
