Apprehension of Kidnapping and Robbery Suspect Leads Deputies to Multiple Arrests for Drug Sales

Sonora, CA…On Saturday July 1st, 2023, just before 1:00 in the morning, deputies made a high-risk traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of O’Byrne’s Ferry Road and Highway 108 after receiving information 26-year-old Alyssa Hoyopatubbi was in the vehicle. Hoyopatubbi had an outstanding felony warrant for her arrest for the crimes of robbery, kidnapping, carjacking, vehicle theft and kidnapping during the commission of a carjacking.

Deputies ordered the occupants, 44-year-old Gina Cook, 26-year-old Alyssa Hoyopatubbi, 42-year-old Jessica Timko and 41-year-old Marshae Wolf, out of the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle and vehicle occupants, deputies found drug paraphernalia and various bags containing approximately 200 grams gross weight of Fentanyl, with a street value ranging from $10,000 – $20,000. They also located approximately 140 grams gross weight of Methamphetamine, with a street value ranging from $1,400 – $4,200.

All four women were arrested and transported the Dambacher Detention Center (DDC). While at the DDC deputies found additional Fentanyl concealed in Wolf’s bra. Hoyopatubbi, Cook, Timko and Wolf were booked on charges of possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale, transporting a narcotic controlled substance, transporting a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance for sale and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Hoyopatubbi was booked on her warrant in addition to the fresh charges, Wolf was booked on bringing a controlled substance into the jail in addition to the fresh charges and Cook was booked on an outside agency misdemeanor warrant in addition to the fresh charges.
