Handsome Zeus Awaits! Adopt Him Today!

San Andreas, CA…Handsome newcomer Zeus is a neutered male German Shepherd Dog mix, estimated to be about 1-2 years old and a sleek 93 pounds. We think he is adorable! Zeus is a gentle giant who still has puppy behaviors including jumping on people for attention, so older children only. He arrived with Xena, his playmate; they may be adopted together but it is not required.

He took a few days to trust strangers; now he is comfortable with a wide circle of staff and volunteers.
He is affectionate and can be clingy sometimes. That may be a sign of trust.

He is wonderful with all the other dogs he has met, including some reactive ones. A meet ’n greet is required if you have another dog.

Zeus is very food motivated. He has excellent leash manners and will chase the ball. Since Zeus is neutered, he is ready to be your companion right away!
