Murphys, CA…Under the coordination of Sgt. Vic Farina, the Calaveras Sheriff Volunteers Capt. Betty Miner, Sgt. Bob Fienberg, Sgt. Aurora Weatherby, Louis Chiu, Mike Connich, Jim Garrick, Kathleen Hogue Gonzalez, Bruce Greenfield, Sandra Kraft, Barry Macler, Rudy Silberbauer and Pat Toepel provided traffic control during the Irish Day parade and celebration on Saturday, March 19th, 2016. This annual celebration was well attended. Under beautiful weather, the public enjoyed this fun filled event.

The Calaveras County Sheriff Volunteer Unit continues to need more volunteers to assist various communities in holding public events in Calaveras County.
