Mountain Ranch, CA…Debris removal is now complete on 99.5% of participating properties. 3 crews continue to make great progress working a seven day work week. Soil Samples have been approved on 693 properties and erosion control completed on 560 properties. The Building Department continues to encourage residents to submit building plans for review and complete a building permit application prior to completion of the debris removal process.

Phase two of the Butte Fire Debris Removal Operation is expected to begin in late April or early May depending on the weather. At that time CalRecycle crews will complete debris removal at approximately ten sites that are currently have access issues.
