Highway 4 Closure & Traffic Controls this Week in Alpine County

Alpine, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following traffic controls next week: State Route 4, Full highway closure one mile east of Upper Creek Bridge for roadway excavation beginning Tuesday, September 12, through Thursday, September 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control one mile east of Upper Creek Bridge for roadway excavation on Friday, September 15, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control from East Carson River to Route 89, Closure Gate #5 for drainage work beginning Monday, September 11, through Thursday, September 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control from East Carson River to Route 89, Closure Gate #5 for drainage work on Friday, September 15, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

State Route 88
One-way traffic control at West Fork Carson River Bridge for long-term bridge work through Thursday, November 30, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control from Alpine/Mono County Line to Route 4 for AC paving beginning Monday, September 11, through Thursday, September 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control from Webster Street to Turtle Rock Park Road for long-term drainage work through Saturday, October 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control from West State Route 88, to Alpine/El Dorado County Line for AC Paving beginning on Monday, September 11, through Thursday September 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10 to 30-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
