Arnold, CA…In the heart of the Stanislaus National Forest on Highway 4, Arnold offers something for everyone in a pristine mountain setting: a nearby ski resort (Bear Valley), award-winning wineries and tasting rooms, specialty shopping, thousands of miles of hiking and backpacking trails, and world-class cave exploring. Among the dozens of lakes sprinkled throughout the Stanislaus National Forest are several large nearby reservoirs offering plenty of water recreation, including camping, fishing, and boating.
