Hey Good People!!! We’re Opening More Terrain off the Summit!!!!

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! The Solstice ushers in a beautiful day ahead with snow shower activity continuing this afternoon with some high clouds in the morning hours as the Sun looks to show face also. 40F will be the high with an ENE wind up to 10mph. After all is said and done, we picked up 8″ at the base area and 12″ up on the summit, for some classic California Sierra cement which has proven for us here at Bear currently to be a great base builder and even better, an awesome combo with our state of the art snow making system as riding on the groomers is exceptional currently as the wetter snow from this system has helped tremendously to “stiffen” the pack up for great skiing and riding.

Friday and Saturday will bring another chance of snow shower activity with temps in the mid 30’s or so during the day with mid 20’s overnight. This will open once again the door for us to take advantage of those temps and push out some more snow making as we have been focusing on the Grouse Connection area on the backside. Snowfall may reach down to the 4000′ during this time with lite snow fall accumulations expected.

Moving into Sunday, things will settle down as the returning ridge will bring dry weather and a slight increase in temps through next week. The Christmas Holiday, Sunny skies, great on snow conditions to get yer groom on, and the New Year, all make the perfect reasons for you to come on up and enjoy Bear Valley this Holiday Season.

THE BEAR IS BACK!!!!!
Peace Out,

Mattly
