Hey Good People!!! Spend New Years Eve in Bear Valley! Fireworks at Midnight!!

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! A beautiful day is ahead on the backside of the recent snowfall as the high today looks to be around 31F with a lite East wind up to 8mph. The next pulse of snowy weather will arrive Tuesday evening and spill over into Thursday bringing with it a possible 2-4″ of new snow during that time. High pressure ridging returns for the later part of the week as the upper level ridge builds back up yet giving way to some possible snow shower activity as the trough out of Alaska digs in with some decent moisture in the .50″ range. Typically in the West, an inch of water aloft translates into approx 12″ of snow. So, a 1:12 ratio event looks likely so we may pick upwards of 6″ of snow for the weekend if the stars align correctly. Snow levels for this system could be around the 4000′ elevation so there is a chance of increased snowfall totals but we will have to wait and see how that plays out.

Conditions on the hill are amazing for quality groomers with the off-piste skiing and riding giving everyone Smiles across the Miles! We continue to open up more terrain as the natural snowfall along with our stellar snow making efforts has given us the opportunity to continue those efforts. The Vibe is high here at Bear Valley with a high stoke level across the board and great terrain to enjoy through the Holiday season.

The Bear is Back!
Peace Out,
Mattly
