San Andreas, CA…We are pleased to announce that we will be starting our Leadership Calaveras 2016 Program in May and invite you to participate. Leadership Calaveras provides a “hands on” approach to learning the significant issues facing Calaveras County as well as insight into the vital organizations working successfully within our County. This program is designed to educate, motivate and inspire you to become an active member in the community in which you live, creating a better tomorrow for future generations. During the course of this program you will be challenged mentally and physically in order to build qualities proving beneficial to leadership in both your work place and community.

The Leadership Calaveras Program will meet once a month over the course of 9 months with graduation in January 2017. Each month we will concentrate on topics of importance in the County and meet with Representatives of each field we are studying. Topics we will be exploring include Natural Resources (Land & Water), Agriculture, Government & Law Enforcement, Non-Profit Organizations, Health & Human Services, Arts & Culture, Tourism/Recreation, History/Diversity and Education.

Join us for this exciting time as we get a “Behind the Scenes” experience of Calaveras County.

The program is $500 per participant and includes lunch, materials & graduation.
