Arnold, CA…John Nelson June 7, 1939 ~ January 12, 2024 (age 84).  John Richard Nelson, 84, passed away peacefully in his home in Arnold, CA on January 12, 2024. He was born to Marie and Peter Nelson in Fort Lupton, CO on June 7, 1939. John was a proud Service Representative for Western (Delta) Airlines for 25 years before retiring in 1983 and shortly after moving to Arnold, CA to enjoy his retirement with his wonderful wife, Gleness. John and Gleness were married for 63 years before his passing.

John was preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings, he leaves behind his wife Gleness, his 4 children, Laurie Bennet of Benicia, CA, Jean Nelson (Patrick VanDenBroeke) of Columbia, CA, Mary Ann O’Dell (Keith) of Dublin, CA, and Richard Nelson (Patty) of Camino, CA; Sister-in-law, Helen Nelson of Colorado, 11 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
