Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) and SR-12 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;

STATE ROUTE 4
• One-way traffic control from Vallecito Road to Batten Road for tree work
beginning Monday, January 22, through Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 8:00
a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 12
• Moving closure from SR-26 West/Laurel Street to SR-49 for striping operations
beginning Monday, January 22, through Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 9:00
a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken
whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic
incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related
