Amador County, CA….The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-88, and SR-124 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;

STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras
County line) for bridge work beginning Monday, January 22, through Friday,
January 26, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 88
• One-way traffic control from Rossbridge Road to East Molofino Road for tree
work beginning Monday, January 22, through Friday, January 26, 2024, from 8:30
a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 124
• Closure of the left shoulder from Route 88 to Buena Vista Road for shoulder work
beginning Monday, January 22, through Friday, January 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m.
until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken
whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic
incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related
