Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-88, and SR-124 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;

STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras
County line) for bridge work beginning Monday, January 29, through Friday,
February 2, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from
7:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. (midnight.)
• One-way traffic control at Main Street/Plymouth Shenandoah Road for utility
work on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 88
• Closure of the right shoulder from Buckhorn Ridge Road to Meadow Vista Drive
for utility work on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 124
• One-way traffic control from Route 88 to Buena Vista Road for utility work
beginning Monday, January 29, through Friday, February 2, 2024, from 8:00 a.m.
until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken
whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic
incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related
