San Andreas, CA…Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program. (The first year being Transitional Kindergarten and the second year a more traditional Kindergarten program.) Students may enroll in a Transitional Kindergarten program if they are five years old between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025. Parents and guardians may optionally enroll their age-eligible child in a Transitional Kindergarten program.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten enrollment packets will be available at Calaveras Unified School District elementary schools beginning March 6, 2024. The deadline for returning the packets is June 7, 2024. If you have any questions, please call your school site.

All parents must bring proof of age or record of birth for their child and an immunization record for DPT, Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B and Varicella with verification of the dates.

Transitional Kindergarten: All students must be 5 years old between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025.

Regular Kindergarten: All students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024.
