San Andreas, CA…With all precincts reporting here are the March 5th election results for Calaveras County.  Results are posted for the night. The next update of results will be posted by 5pm Friday on the Calaveras County Elections webpage. You can view by searching Calaveras County Elections and then clicking on the Election Results icon.

There are roughly 4,500 vote-by-mail ballots yet to be counted. These ballots were picked up from drop boxes, vote centers and received through the mail today.  We will continue counting ballots received through the mail and postmarked by March 5, 2024, through March 12, 2024.

Voters who received letters stating their signature was missing from the yellow return envelope or their signature did not match the voter registration file can return the form to cure through March 18, 2024.

Counting ballots is our top priority. Once all ballots are counted, we will begin the manual hand tally to verify the equipment counted the votes for each contest correctly. The deadline to certify the official results and report to the State is April 4, 2024.
