San Andreas, CA…On March 26th, 2024, Adrian Topete and Joseph Denney successfully completed the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Field Training Program. Both Adrian and Joseph joined the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office on April 22, 2023, as Deputy Sheriff recruits and received sponsorship through the law enforcement academy.

Following their academy graduation on October 31st, 2023, they were assigned as Deputy Sheriff Trainees, partnering with field training officers to gain practical experience. Throughout this period, Adrian and Joseph prepared to handle the diverse and challenging calls for service they would encounter as a solo Deputy Sheriff. They are excited to embark on their law enforcement journey, beginning with assignments in the patrol division.
