San Andreas, CA…Jay R. Smith March 15, 1973 ~ April 11, 2024 (age 51). Jay Smith, a 20-year resident of San Andreas, passed away peacefully in his home on April 11th. At the age of 51. Jay was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and so much more. He loved his family very deeply. He also loved his friends. He was always there for his family and friends. He was a rock for many. With a heart too big for his body and soul to match. He often turned friends into family. He loved being a dad more than anything, being with his family, helping his friends, flying his airplane, being on his dozer, hunting, fishing, and living life to the fullest. He will be missed dearly and deeply.

A memorial service to honor him will be held at the Mountain Ranch park on May 25th at 1 pm.
