San Andreas, CA…On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Calaveras County Department of Public Works will be closing two bridges to accommodate Caltrans bridge inspection operations. Middle Bar Bridge (Gwin Mine Road and Middle Bar Road) will be closed to traffic from 9 am to 12:30 pm, and Calaveritas Bridge (Calaveritas Road) will be closed from 1 pm to 4 pm.  Due to the narrowness of the bridges Public Works requests that the traveling public uses alternate routes during the inspection operations. Emergency personnel and vehicles will be given access to the work zone.
