Valley Springs, CA…Firefighters responded to a vehicle accident last night on Highway 26 and Olive Orchard Road in Rancho Calaveras – Valley Springs. The accident involved a motorcycle and an automobile that fled the scene. An adult male (father) was transported by an Air Ambulance to a Trauma Center in the Valley, and a 14-year-old female (daughter) was taken by ground ambulance to a Trauma Center.

Luckily, the front bumper and license plate were located at the scene of the accident by CHP, and Officers from the Sheriff’s Department and CHP were able to locate the driver of the other vehicle.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by CHP.
