Angels Camp, CA…Gold Country Financial Leadership will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, April 29 starting at 5:30 p.m. at its new office, 252 N. Main St., Angels Camp. Angels Camp Mayor Wes Kulm will officiate the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m., a service sponsored by Destination Angels Camp. During the event owners Bonnie Miller and Mary Olson will provide information about the services offered by their new business including financial planning, education on the many aspects of financial security, how families can get out of debt, and retirement maximization. Complimentary wine and appetizers will be served.

“Educating people about how to maximize their life financially is a passion of mine,” said Miller. “I’ve wanted to do something to give back to this great community and the time is now.”

Miller and Olson both trained and worked with Transamerica in retirement solutions. “We currently have ten licensed representatives available to work with our clients,” Miller explained.

Miller has been a business owner in Calaveras County for more than 30 years, starting with her restaurant, The Culture Counter, back in the late ‘70s. In recent years she built four Round Table Pizza franchises in Valley Springs, Angels Camp, Arnold and Jackson and sold them.

“My husband, our four children and I have been coming to this area since the ‘80s and love it,” remarked Olson. “I have been self-employed for 35 years, the last 13 with Transamerica Financial Advisors as a fully-licensed agent. My specialty is designing tax-free retirements for families and business owners. In addition, we are able to provide secure products to protect against losses in the market, as well as affordable long-term products. I look forward to helping my neighbors and friends achieve their financial goals.”

Gold Country Financial Leaderships offers free workshops every Wednesday at 6 p.m. “It is my mission to provide education about how to achieve stable income to residents in the county,” Miller summarized. “We welcome everyone to stop by at the Grand Opening and get a taste of what we do.”
