Dardanelle, CA…On June 6, 2024, at approximately 2:30PM, a 34-year-old Oakdale female resident was riding a 2024 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on State Route 108, east of Clark Fork Road at an undetermined speed. The rider allowed the motorcycle to leave the roadway where it overturned. As a result, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle and succumbed to her injuries.

The rider was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of this crash. It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs are a factor in this crash. The crash is still under investigation and the identity of the rider is being held pending family notification.
