Toulumne Sheriff’s Office Aero Fire Update

Sonora, CA…**UPDATE** Aero Fire ** (10:45 pm).  A Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Watch Commander will be remaining at the Incident Command Post in Calaveras County overnight to ensure the most up to date information is obtained relating to any fire activity impacting Tuolumne County. This evening, TCSO deputies will be patrolling O’Byrnes Ferry Road, where an evacuation warning is currently in effect. Additionally we have TCSO deputies providing mutual aid to assist Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office with their operations.

EVACUATION ORDERS (Tuolumne County):
There are no evacuation orders at this time.

 

EVACUATION WARNINGS (Tuolumne County):
-O’Byrnes Ferry Road from the Tuolumne/Calaveras County line to Highway 108

 

ROAD CLOSURES (Tuolumne County):
-O’Byrnes Ferry Road is closed at Highway 108(State Route 120) *If you are a resident or employee of a business on the Tuolumne County side of O’Byrnes Ferry you will be allowed pass through the roadblock, be prepared to show your ID.

Please be advised, due to the direction of the Aero Fire currently burning in Calaveras County near Copperopolis, we will be issuing evacuation warnings in Tuolumne County along O’Byrnes Ferry Road from the Tuolumne/Calaveras County line to Highway 108.
