Avery, CA…Please be advised that Moran Road will be closed to thru traffic from State Route 4 to Avery Hotel Road on Thursday, September 11, 2024, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for paving and roadway reconstruction. During construction operations, traffic lanes will be closed, however, flaggers will be on site to keep delays at a minimum. There will be limited access, so please plan your route accordingly. We ask that you follow all instructions provided by on site personnel to ensure everyone’s safety.

Calaveras County Department of Public Works and our contractor, Mountain Cascade, Inc., appreciates your cooperation and will do everything we can to re-open the road on schedule.
