Glencoe, CA…John-Thomas Earl Bandy March 2, 2001 ~ September 1, 2024 (age 23).  John-Thomas (JT) Earl Bandy, 23, of Galt, Ca., passed away on September 1, 2024, after a tragic car accident.  John-Thomas was born on March 2, 2001, in Sacramento CA, to Johnny and Suzanne Bandy. After JT graduated from Liberty Ranch High School in 2019, he went on to study mechanical engineering at Universal Technical Institute.

After graduating with a degree in Diesel Mechanics, he started his career as a heavy equipment mechanic for Royal Electric Company. He was a part of their family for 4 years, where he continued to thrive and grow in his career.

Within his free time, JT enjoyed spending time with his friends and long-term girlfriend at the lake or on a dirt bike track. JT also enjoyed hunting and riding his dirt bike with his nephew, as these are activities he did throughout his childhood and was helping to pass them on. After JT graduated high school, he found his love for rock crawling and had several rock crawlers. JT would take frequent trips to rock crawling trails and the Rubicon with friends for the weekend.

JT is survived by his parents Johnny and Suzanne Bandy, his older sister Kaytlyn Bandy, and his young niece and nephew. JT was a staple in his family structure and was the glue which kept them all connected through his infectious smile and goofy laugh.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to a scholarship fund in JT’s memorial. The parents plan to award seniors at Liberty Ranch High School who plan to pursue careers in the mechanical field with scholarships to help aid in their educational funds.
