Give Life Saving Blood on November 19th at the Calaveras Community Foundation Blood Drive

San Andreas, CA…From hurricanes to tornadoes, the recent storm season has significantly impacted blood supplies across the U.S. Severe blood shortages have created a crisis for those who rely on life saving blood. Now more than ever your blood donations are needed to help save lives. If you are a returning donor or a first-time donor, you can help save lives by donating blood on November 19th at the San Andreas Town Hall.

The Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) and Vitalant continue to partner to collect lifesaving blood. Your donation ensures there is blood when it is needed, especially during a crisis. Besides emergency cases, there are so many individuals who rely on regular blood transfusions to stay alive. You can help them continue their fight by simply donating blood.

This month’s blood drive is on November 19th from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm at the San Andreas Town Hall at 24 Church Hill Road, San Andreas. Preparing for your donation is simple, first make an appointment by going to donors.vitalant.org and use blood drive code SMFM399 or scan the QR code below. You can also call 877-258-4825 to make an appointment. On the day of your donation be sure to bring your photo I.D., eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water.
