Valley Springs, CA…As your District 1 Supervisor for the last 7 years, I have worked to accomplish many projects that have benefited both District 1 and the County.

Some of which include the following:

The Highway 4 realignment project phase 1

Cosgrove creek cleared annually including expanded work this year, with more extensive work scheduled for next year. Secured funding for that project along with permits to allow it.

4 way stop sign at the intersection of Highway 12 and Burson rd., secured a Safe Routes to School Grant to improve the Valley Springs Elementary School Access, construction to start next year.

Allocated and approved funds for the improved water system in Quinone’s Park, allotted funds for improvements to Neilson Park, placed speed tables on Pope St. and California St.

Secured a 9-million-dollar grant for Safe Routes to School for the San Andreas Elementary School. Approved and allocated funds to the San Andreas Merchants Assoc.

I have worked hard on a budget to meet the needs of the Sheriff, DA. and all the General Fund departments.

I have been involved for years in the Communities that I serve; I am committed to continue working to meet the needs of those Communities within District 1 and Calaveras County.
