The Calaveras Grape Stomp Competition began 31 years ago, created by local winery owners and grape growers to celebrate the harvest season while supporting the community.

Each year, the event features a silent auction to benefit local organizations, non-profits, and our high school scholarship program. Thanks to the generosity of businesses and community members, we raised $11,300 from this year’s event. These funds were used to award three scholarships to local students, with additional proceeds supporting 17 deserving organizations, including:
